Notice 07-22-2026 : Voting by Absentee Ballot for the August 11, 2026, Partisan Primary Election: The deadline for making an application to receive an absentee ballot by mail is 5 pm on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2026, for the Partisan Primary. You may also request and vote an absentee ballot on or after July 28, 2026, in person in the Clerk’s Office during business days. Please call the Town Clerk at 715-247-3470 to schedule an appointment. Proof of identification must be provided before an absentee ballot may be issued. The elector must be registered to receive an absentee ballot. Please see the postings under the News/Notices page and Elections page on this website. You may also go to www.myvote.wi.gov to obtain information and apply for an absentee ballot by mail. The last day to vote an absentee ballot in the Clerk’s office for the August 11, 2026 Partisan Primary Election is Friday, August 7, 2026, at 5 pm.

Stacks of tires.FREE Tire Collection EventThursday, Sept. 5 | 3pm – 7pm1395 Hilltop Drive, Houlton, WI 54082 Join us for a special collection event hosted by St. Croix County. Bring in your pick-up truck, car, motorcycle, ATV, SUV, van, golf cart, trailer, yard equipment, or bicycle tires for recycling. This event is for St. Croix County residents only. Limit of 12 passenger tires per household. There will be a charge of $1 per rim (cash only – please bring exact change). Commercial businesses and tractor tires are not eligible. This event will take place at the St. Croix River Crossing Loop Trail Hilltop Trailhead, located at 1395 Hilltop Drive, Houlton, WI 54082. Funding is limited. Kitchens, bathrooms, basements, garages, sheds and barns are all places where you may store items with properties that make them hazardous. Bring any items that are over 60% metal, including but not limited to: appliances, aluminum cans, scrap metal, copper, aluminum, and batteries for FREE!
