Notice 07-22-2026 : Voting by Absentee Ballot for the August 11, 2026, Partisan Primary Election: The deadline for making an application to receive an absentee ballot by mail is 5 pm on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2026, for the Partisan Primary. You may also request and vote an absentee ballot on or after July 28, 2026, in person in the Clerk’s Office during business days. Please call the Town Clerk at 715-247-3470 to schedule an appointment. Proof of identification must be provided before an absentee ballot may be issued. The elector must be registered to receive an absentee ballot. Please see the postings under the News/Notices page and Elections page on this website. You may also go to www.myvote.wi.gov to obtain information and apply for an absentee ballot by mail. The last day to vote an absentee ballot in the Clerk’s office for the August 11, 2026 Partisan Primary Election is Friday, August 7, 2026, at 5 pm.

Town of Somerset Advertisement for Sealed Bids

Please take notice that the Town of Somerset is seeking bids for hot oil application of chip seal coating for approximately 11 miles of Town roads. Work to be completed by August 15, 2019.

Please contact the Town Clerk, Jeri Koester, P. O. Box 248, Somerset, WI 54025 until 3:00 pm on Monday, March 4, 2019. The outside of the envelope should be clearly marked “Chip Seal Bids”. No faxed or emailed bids will be accepted.

The sealed bids will be opened at the Town of Somerset Transportation & Facilities Committee meeting on Tuesday, March 6, beginning at 8:00 pm.

The Town of Somerset reserves the right to reject any and all bids to waive irregularities and informalities therein, and to award the contract in the best interests of the Town.
